Edwina Billyk Bio

Art has always fascinated me. After asking many times for a pony that would live in the backyard and a piano, my parents settled on a piano that would live in the basement. At ten I began to play the piano at last. At eleven I started to paint in oils. My curiosity about the humanities led me to degrees in English and Sociology before starting my career in teaching.

Now retired I have lots of time for art as well as walking in the woods and watching the birds and the sky. Then there is gardening, pickle ball, sometimes singing and maybe dancing. I have recently started teaching again after someone said to me they couldn’t draw, not even with a ruler. Really?
